FOUTY, Harriett Jane

The White Mountain Independent's Online Edition - 06/06/2008 Show Low, Arizona Harriett Jane Fouty, 90, previously from Phoenix, passed away June 1, 2008, at her home in Overgaard. She was born Feb. 2, 1918, in Brazil, Ind. She graduated from Indiana State University and Arizona State University. Harriett taught typing and shorthand at both the high school and college levels. Jane is survived by her daughter, Judy Norris of Rosedale, Ind., son Warren (Debbie) Fouty of Overgaard and granddaughter Larissa Norris of Arlington, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Perry E. Fouty. Private services will be held in Show Low. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent in Harriett Jane Fouty's name to your favorite charity. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
