Loraine Hazel (April 14, 1926 - February 25, 2009) Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Loraine Hazel, age 82, passed away Wednesday - February 25, 2009 in Scottsdale. She was born on April 14, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Herman Smith and Nannie Townsond. Loraine was a retired book keeper for Smith Pipe and Steel as well as a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband, Bill; 3 children - Judy Hukill, Bill Hazel, Jr. and Michael J. Hazel; sisters, Diane Harris and Elaine Hawke; brother, Harold Smith and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Dustin Hazel; 2 brothers, Danny and Jimmy as well as her sister Bessie. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday - March 7, 2009 at Owens Livingston Mortuary Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low, Arizona. A viewing and visitation will be held Friday evening March 6th from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the mortuary as well as one-hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment will be in the Show Low Cemetery.
