KANZ, Ann

The White Mountain Independent Online Edition Ann Kanz 10/23/2007 Ann Kanz, 72, of Show Low died Oct. 8, 2007, at her home. Mrs. Kanz, a homemaker, was born March 14, 1935, in North Adams, Mass. She grew up and attended school there. Following school she met and married Orrin W. Kanz on Dec. 19, 1955, in Endfield, Conn. Following their marriage, they made their home in Springfield, Mass. They moved to Ludlow, Mass., in 1972 and t retired to Show Low in 1986. She was a cake decorator. She also enjoyed quilting and crafts. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Orrin W. Kanz of Show Low, four children, two sisters, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children. Memorial services have been held. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
