Louise Bryant Brown (January 7, 1917 - March 9, 2008) Louise Bryant Brown, 91, of Show Low passed away Sunday, March 9th in Show Low. She was born January 7, 1917, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Louise (Rollison) Wilson. She was married to Nolan Brown on September 16, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The couple moved from Missouri to Arizona in 1947, settling in Phoenix. She worked for many years at the First National Bank in Phoenix, retiring in the late 1970’s, after which the couple then moved to their ranch near Concho. She came to Show Low in 2000. She worked three days a week for Fuller’s Auto Dealership doing customer service. She was a member of the American Evangelical Lutheran Church in Phoenix and the Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church in Show Low. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, animals and canning. Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of the White Mountains. Survivors include three grandsons, Clay Brown (Bekki) of Woodlake, CA, Chad Brown of Selma, CA and Gregg Brown (Carol) of Surprise; seven great grandchildren, Jake, Serria and Cayla Brown all of Surprise, Katelyn Brown of Woodlake, CA, Steven Cook of Woodlake, CA, Kyle Brown of Selma, CA and Brianna Brown of Selma, CA; and a dear friend, Jackie Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Nolan B. Brown. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 12th at Greenwood Memory Lawn in Phoenix with Pastor Paul Benson officiating and music by Richard McKeon.
