The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona. Wednesday, March 22, 2006 Betty Jo (Hoover) Pratt was born on October 30, 1922, in Princeton, Mo. She went home to the arms of her loving Savior March 18, 2006. She was 83. She is survived by many friends who have loved her dearly, including Wanda Chapin and Tomi Hindsley who have been her caregivers for more than 9 years. She was a true blessing to this family. Betty was a "Golden Girl." as a member of Chapter AU PEO of Blacksburg, Va. for 50 years. She worked as a bookkeeper, doing payroll and customer service for Aquarian Pump Company in Prescott and also for Yavapai County in the finance department. Betty enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. She loved animals and enjoyed traveling. Services for Betty will be at Faith Baptist Church, 2851 Mendecino Drive, Prescott Valley, Ariz., at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund in Betty's honor. These arrangements were entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home, Prescott Valley, Arizona.
