The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 01/30/2009 Nellie Kasey reunited with Christ Jan. 22, 2009, in Tucson. She was born Feb. 11, 1920, in Carrizo. She will dearly be missed by her family, friends and relatives. Nellie is remembered and loved by her daughters, Deloris Reidhead, Lorraine Jaffe, Colleen Lupe, Dorothy Quail, Audrey Mix and Olive Thompson; goddaughters Sharon Walker and Priscilla Skidmore; three nieces and a nephew; 58 grandchildren, 150 great-grandchildren, 109 great-great-grandchildren and 35 great-great-great grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. A two-night wake started at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at her residence at 3109 N. Tenijieth Road in Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.. Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Assembly of God Church in Whiteriver with Pastor Robert Jimenez officiating. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
