The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 09/05/2008 Fillmore James went home to be with the Lord Aug. 27, 2008, in Whiteriver. He was born April 24, 1947, in Whiteriver. He will be dearly missed by all but never forgotten. Fillmore is survived by his sisters, Perlita Johnson and Dorothy Drennan, and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by Harvey James, Mae James, Carlos James, Crescencio James, Valentino James and Matilda Fall. A wake will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Andy and Michelle Bennett's residence in Whiteriver. Home services will be held at 1 p.m.. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the family residence with Pastor Timothy Hinton officiating. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery in Whiteriver. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
