Kendrick
Kendrick Holder passed away on July 27, 2009, in Tempe, AZ.
He was born on October 2, 1921, in Payson, Arizona. He was a rancher and a true Arizona cowboy who loved the western way of life.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lora Mae Holder, his brother, Leon Holder, his son, Mick Holder, and two daughters, Marilyn Stanberry and Sharon Sandell. He has eight grandchildren, fi fteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
His family says, "He was the best husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend anyone could have. He was the guiding light, along with Lora Mae, for the whole family. He never lost his words of wisdom, his exceptional wit or his sense of humor.
He will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to cross his path."
The family thanks everyone who was a part of his life and deeply appreciates the help of Hospice of the Valley. If desired, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley in Kendrick's name. _
Services will be on Saturday, Aug. 1, at 10 a.m. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, with interment at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens on the Miami- Superior highway.
