Vern Delowis Campbell, 88, of Prescott, born Oct. 17, 1917, in Portland, Ore., died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at the Veterans  Administration Medical Center in Prescott.

Memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4 at the V.A. Chapel in Prescott. Services will also take place at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 Mt. Scott Blvd. Portland, Ore.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children would be appreciated.
