BONITO, JR., Randall

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona 07/31/2003 Randall Bonito, Jr., 32, died July 26, 2003 while on duty with his Heli-Tac crew. Randall was born in Show Low and raised in Whiteriver where he lived his entire life. He graduated from Alchesay High School in 1991 and immediately got involved in Forestry. Randall enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his two sons. He married Sherry Skidmore May 15, 1995 and together had two sons; they also had a daughter that passed away. Randall is survived by his wife Sherry of Whiteriver; two sons, Cody and Randall III; his mother, Melissa Bonito of Whiteriver; seven brothers, Leon, Gilbert, Ronald, Gerald, Marcus, Chester and Eddie; one sister, Vicki; one adopted brother, Lane Tonay, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Randalyn and his father Randall Bonito. A two night wake at Melissa Bonito's residence in Rainbow City will be held July 31 and Aug. 1 with funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Chief Alchesay Center in Whiteriver. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
