The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 04/09/2004 Vida Way Martinez, 61, died April 2, 2004 in Payson. Vida was born Dec. 6, 1942 in Whiteriver and also lived there. She is survived by her sons Roger Thompson, Keith Zospah and Chris Way; sisters, Becky Kane, Katherine Colelay and Kathleen Goode; aunt, Alice Quintero; four grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Riley Way, Sr. and Dora Baha Way; brothers Riley Way, Jr. and Alfredo Way Sr.; sister Loretta Way White Eagle and grandmother Sarah Massey. A wake will be held Friday, April 9 at 10 a.m. at her residence in Whiteriver. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 10 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Whiteriver with Father Ed officiating. Interment will be in the Whiteriver Cemetery. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
