CHAVEZ, Troy Xavier

Troy Xavier Chavez, 6, of Superior, passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, in Apache Junction. 

He was born Nov. 10, 1995, in Mesa. He was a first grader at Kennedy Elementary School, an excellent student and a leader among his peers. He loved life, sports, cars and doing things with his family and friends. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. 

He is survived by his parents, John and Julie Chavez of Superior; a brother, Nathan; sisters, Deanna and Marisa; grandparents, John and Gloria Chavez of Superior and Isabel and Mary Lou Tijerina of Texas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Superior High School. Elder Bob Smith officiated. 

Arrangements were made by the Superior Funeral Home.
