Irma Lou Ashcraft died June 6, 2003 in Phoenix.
She was born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma. In adulthood she lived in New Mexico, California, Florida and settled in Holbrook. She worked for many years as a cashier for Walt's Western Hardware and for Bo's Restaurant. She was talented with ceramics and crafts, loved gardening and her roses, and most of all provided a wonderful home for numerous dogs throughout the years.
She is survived by her brother, Keith Ashcraft of Concho; nephews, Michael and Ken Ashcraft of Holbrook, Robert Ashcraft of St. Johns; nieces, Sharon Ashcraft of Strawberry, Kathy Bushman and Theresa Ashcraft of Snowflake; along with numerous great nephews and nieces; and her beloved pet Sandee.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and four brothers.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, June 10 at the Holbrook Cemetery.
Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
