The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 28, 2007, p. A17 Margaret R. Hitzeman crossed over to heaven on Feb. 21 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Peoria, Ariz. Margaret and Albert Hitzeman moved to Arizona in 1982 from Villa Park, Ill., and spent the majority of these years in Wickenburg. Margaret was born Dec. 23, 1917 in Chicago, Ill., to Michael and Frances Genovise. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert A. Hitzeman, sisters Mary Stroh and Sally Madia and brother Frank Genovise. She is survived by sisters Frances Tellone, Josephine Caccippio, and Clair Raso; children Frank (Karen) Hitzeman, Dennis Hitzeman, and Debbie (Ed) Syzponik; grandchildren Shane (Allison) Hitzeman, Heather Cohen, and Kristin (Don) Johnson; great-grandchildren Sophie Cohen, Jordyn Hitzeman, and Tanner Johnson. Private memorial services and mass were held Feb. 24 at St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg. Family suggest memorial contributions be made in Margaret's name to St. Anthony's Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home.
