BOEDEKER, Georgianne A. (Georgie)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 21, 2007, p. A12 Georgianne A. “Georgie” Boedeker died March 8, 2007, in her home, at the age of 92. She enjoyed the natural beauty of the desert and loved calling Wickenburg “her home” for the last 41 years. Georgie was born April 25, 1914 in a homestead near St. Ignatius, Mont. She moved to Sacramento, Calif., in the early 1930s, where she married Orval “Dutch” on her birthday, April 25, 1935. They were married for 43 years before he passed away on March 24, 1979. Her daughter Sondra Guthrie also precedes Georgie in death. Survivors include her three grandsons, Matt Guthrie, of Portland, Ore., Marc Guthrie of Sacramento, Calif., and Mike Guthrie of Beaverton, Ore., and four great grandchildren. A private family burial will be held in Sacramento, Calif. Arrangements are by Wickenburg Funeral Home and East Lawn Memorial Park, Sacramento, Calif.
