Shelby C. Edwards, age 93, passed away April 11, 2007 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was born in Hartford, Ark., March 28, 1914.

Shelby served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He had worked heavy construction most of his life.

He is survived by a son Lamarr Edwards of Salome and daughter Debra Johnson of South Carolina and close friend Joanne Peck of Wenden.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral home.
