MASON, Joseph M. (Joe)

 Joseph M. “Joe” Mason passed away Aug. 8, 2009 at his family’s residence in Winkelman, succumbing to massive heart failure. His mother and cousin were with him when he was called to Heaven. Joe was 34.

He was born Feb. 18, 1975, filling his parents’ hearts with much pride.

Joe attended Ray High School and after graduation moved to Elko, Nevada. He returned to Kearny in 1997 and worked at various jobs in the area and enjoyed being with his friends and family.

Joe was greatly loved by many, feared by a few, and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his father, Rodger Mason; mother, Denice Mason; brother, Rodger Doyle; niece, Courtney Mason; nephews, Joshua and Roddy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Joe will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Leo Terrill Hall. Interment will follow at the Kearny Cemetery.
