The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 4, 2007, p. A9 Mary M. Sturtz was taken to be with the Lord on June 28. She was born in 1930, and was called to the ministry where she served the Lord faithfully beside her husband for 34 years in Waterloo, Iowa. Her family moved to Arizona in 1998. She was the loving wife of Harold Sturtz; mother of daughter Sylvia Beahr; daughter Sharon Myers and daughter Brenda Blomqvist Jarl; grandmother of Rich Beahr, Brenton Beahr, Shannon Rousselow, Ashlee Myers, Amber Lutkiewicz, Christian Sturtz and Meredith Long. She was also great-grandmother of eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Ella Bennett. A memorial service was held on Monday (July 2) at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. There will also be a celebration of her life in Waterloo, Iowa, on Thursday (July 5) at 6 p.m. at the Calvary Cathedral Church. Mary will be loved and missed by all. Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home.
