The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 12, 2007, p. A9 Eugene L. Johnson was born Oct. 20,1929 in Waukegan, Ill. He died Dec. 1 in Wickenburg, Ariz. Gene was a member of VFW 285, Past Commander of American Legion Kellis Draper Post 12, and a life member of the American Legion as well as a member of Post 79 in Yarnell, Ariz. Gene was preceded in death by his wife Clara Johnson. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 13) at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Arrangements are by David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home of Wickenburg.
