Sollars, Irene Alexandra Cecot - Died peacefully in Scottsdale, Arizona, on May 18, 2008. Born in Detroit, Michigan, to Stephen and Justine Cecot (Czeczot). Beloved wife of Paul J. Sollars, to whom she was married for 51 years until his death in 1997. Survived by son, Gary M. Sollars, M.D. (Halina Czerniejewski), of Scottsdale, AZ; and daughters Trina Sollars Walsh (James P.), of Germantown, OH; Patricia J. Sollars, Ph.D. (Gary Pickard), of Fort Collins, CO; and Suzanne I. Sollars, Ph.D., of Omaha, NE. Five grandchildren: Alexander, Claire, Galen, Kendra, and Emilia. One sister: Florence T. Cecot, of MI. Preceded in death by three brothers who died in wartime service: Walter, Alfred, and Robert. Private services were held at Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Scottsdale, AZ, at the convenience of the family; no visitation. Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association.
