HOFFMAN, Edna

The Fountain Hills Times, Fountain Hills, Arizona September 26, 2007 Edna Johnson Hoffman passed away Sept. 22, 2007 at her home. She was born in Oregon City, Oregon, Sept. 14, 1912, the daughter of Alfred and Sarah Johnson. Following the death of her parents, Edna was raised by relatives in Sioux Falls, S.D. Edna married Harold L. Hoffman in 1935, and they made their home in Minneapolis, Minn. until retiring to Fountain Hills in 1978. A dedicated volunteer at the Fountain Hills Library for many years, Edna was an avid bridge player and reader, artist and travel writer. Survivors are sons, Jon Dwight and Tauber Louis Hoffman; grandsons Gregory Scott and Jeffrey Allen Hoffman; great grandsons, Alex Choi and Andrew Choi Hoffman and daughters-in-law Barbara and Caryn Hoffman. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold. Private services and interment was held at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery.
