WITTE, Gary L.

Gary L. Witte, 62, of Gilbert, Ariz. died July 23, 2007 while on a fishing trip in Troy, Montana.

Gary was born in Omaha, Neb. on Oct. 10, 1944 to Willard and Esther ‘Jordan’ Witte. He grew up in Chicago and lived most of his adult life in Arizona.

Gary had been active in the Arizona National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Esther Witte, a brother Russell Witte and his grandparents, George and Johanna Witte. He is survived by several cousins.

A memorial graveside service was held Saturday, Aug. 18, in Hooper Cemetery, Hooper, Neb. The Rev. Joel Schroeder officiated and the American Legion Post 18 of Hooper and the VFW Post 10535 of Hooper/Winslow, Nebraska, provided military honors.
