WASNIK, Nicholas Joseph

Nicholas Joseph Wasnik, 64, of Fountain Hills died Monday, July 16, 2007 at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea hospital. Mr. Wasnik was born Nov. 12, 1942 in Syracuse, N.Y. He worked as a general contractor in construction, and was a U.S. Army veteran that served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Church of the Ascension in Fountain Hills and was a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Wasnik is survived by his wife, Brenda Wasnik of Fountain Hills; two daughters, Renee Wasnik-Soto (Ruben) of Fountain Hills and Nadine Wasnik, also of Fountain Hills; his sister-in-law Deborah Marnell (Marcus) of Scottsdale, and several cousins. He will be missed by his family, friends and animals. A memorial mass was held Wednesday, July 18, at Church of the Ascension. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2929 E.
