SOTELO, Rene R.

Rene R. Sotelo passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009 in Kearny.

Rene was born on April 10, 1936 in Phoenix. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Preceded in death by his wife, Jessie, Rene is survived by his sons, Rene (Robin) Sotelo, Eric (Tracy) Sotelo, David (Tammy) Sotelo; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Audrey, Jacob, Brandon, Alyssa and Cory.

The Rosary was Friday evening, Aug. 28, at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church in Kearny. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father James Aboyi Saturday morning, Aug. 29. Interment, with military honors, was at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden.

The family was assisted by Griffith Mortuary.
