MATLACK, Sharon Lenore

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 3, 2006, p. A16. Sharon Lenore Matlack, age 63, peacefully passed into the arms of the Lord on April 26 after a courageous battle with cancer. Sharon was born Feb. 17, 1943 in Butte, Mont., to Clark and Josephine Richards. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She is survived by her loving and wonderful husband of 44 years John; daughter Jolie; sons John Jr., Jim and Fred; grandchildren Sapphire, Brandi, Sam, Brady, Clancey and Trey; mother Josephine; brother Skip; her best friend and constant companion Scooter; as well as many cherished friends. Sharon was a tower of strength and loved her family very much. She was a friend to all that came into contact with her and enjoyed talking to everyone, anywhere and everywhere she went. We all miss Sharon deeply, but take peace in knowing that her suffering is over, and she is in a glorious place. Services will be held on Thursday (May 4) at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 232 N. Tegner in Wickenburg. Arrangements by David's Desert Chapel Funeral Home.
