JACKSON, Claudine

Claudine Rushing Jackson (October 1, 1925 - September 9, 2009) Mrs. Claudine (Rushing) Jackson, 83, died peacefully at her home on September 9, 2009. Mrs. Jackson was a longtime resident of Flagstaff having located here in 1952 with her husband Raymond and five of their six children. She leaves to mourn her passing her children Bobbie (Ed) Morris of Albuquerque, NM, James (Patsy) Jackson, Emma Henry and Raymond Jackson Jr. all of Flagstaff. She leaves six grandsons and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her surviving siblings are Thelma Stovall, Oscar and Posie Rushing of Louisiana, Dr. Willie Marie Malone and Lucille Mitchell of California. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, Sr. and daughter Irene. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 219 S. Elden St. with Pastor L.D. Marion officiating. There will be an open casket viewing at the church prior to services from 10 to 11am. Burial will conclude services at Citizens Cemetery.
