GROPP, Cory

Cory William Gropp, 45, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on October 23, 2008. Cory is survived by his parents Donald and Virginia Gropp, his soulmate Esther Throckmorton, step-children Brandon and Emma, brother Don Gropp, sister Teri Fyffe and her husband Scott, nephews Michael and Tyler, and niece Lauren. He is also survived by 2 of his best 4-legged friends, Quincy and Zena. Cory was a gentle soul with a loving heart and a contagious sense of humor. He loved traveling with Esther and was a huge Arizona Diamondbacks fan. He was employed at American Fire Equipment where he had many friends. Cory will be sadly missed by all those who dearly loved him. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2008 @ 7:00pm at Echo Mountain Church, 19051 N. 20th St., Phoenix, AZ 85024 Arrangements will be private. Because of Cory's love for animals, the family suggests contributions in lieu of flowers be made to Halo Animal Shelter, 5231 N. 35th Avenue, Phoenix, Az., 85017.
