He lived in Wickenburg for seven years before moving to Montana. He is survived by his grandmother Beth Russell of Wickenburg; uncles, Stan and Robert Russell; brothers Troy Russell, Jim Hedlund, and Erik Russell; son Cody Roy Russell; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Cassie George, grandfather Dan Russell, and father Roy Russell. A memorial will be held in Montana at a later date.
