WHITE, Floyd (Whitey)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 15, 2005, p. B10 Floyd White Whitey passed in his sleep at his home June 10, 2005 with his loving partner Jeannie by his side. He was born August 23, 1939 to Marcus and Minnie White in Eastlynn, W.Va. In 1955 they moved to Wickenburg where he worked as a bartender and house painter, but his life's work was put into the Wickenburg Country Club, where he was employed for 42 years. He has two children Amanda and Charles, and two grandchildren Jenna and Madelynn. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Juanita, brother Roger, and half-sister Doris. Whitey has two surviving brothers Charles and Marcus. Whitey is and always will be greatly missed by his family and many, many friends. A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be announced.
