Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Lake Havasu City, Arizona (July 22, 1954 to April 07, 2009) Deena Lee Gnatowsky passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at her residence in Moorpark, CA. She was born on July 22, 1954 in Grafton, ND; to Harris and Betty (Paul) Hartje. Deena had most recently worked as an office manager for Dr. Howard Wheeler's dental office in Thousand Oaks, CA. She was very active, never one to sit still. Deena enjoyed the outdoors, but the most important things in her life were her husband and children. She was an excellent mother and took part in any activity her children were involved with. Among the many things Deena also enjoyed was scrapbooking, calligraphy, cake decorating, hiking, bowling and gardening. Deena is survived by her husband of 30 years, Sol Gnatowsky of Moorpark, CA; daughters, Tiffany Gnatowsky of Moorpark, CA; Ashley Gnatowsky of San Diego, CA; son, Derek Gnatowsky of Moorpark, CA; parents, Harris and Betty Hartje of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother, Tracey Hartje and wife June and their children, Lindsey and Tyler of Crystal Lake, ILL. Funeral services will be held at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 2790 Inca Dr. at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harold Kallio and Deacon Froemming offering words of comfort and inspiration. A luncheon will follow immediately after the service. Private interment will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
