Martha Antonio, 70, of Canyon Day died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at a Phoenix hospital. She was born Feb. 17, 1939, in Whiteriver, the daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Jalla) Burnette.
She was a homemaker who loved cooking and sewing.
Survivors include four daughters, Bernita Truax, Marian Altaha, Juanda Antonio and Jolinda Antonio; two sons, Leon Quintero Sr. and Terrell Antonio; four sisters, Caroline Alchesay, Velma Davis, Ludy Altaha and Shirley Burnette; three brothers, Adam Burnette, MacArthur Burnette and Sidney Burnette; aunt Cecelia Hopper; three sons-in-law, Raphael Truax Sr., Elvis Altaha and Mike Marcello; 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A wake will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, at 100 Agave Dr., No. 17, in Canyon Day.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, March 2, at Canyon Day Assembly of God Church with Pastor Marvin Begay officiating. Burial will be at Canyon Day Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Black's Mortuary of Show Low.
