GONZALES, Frank L.

Frank L. Gonzales, 63, of Superior Arizona, passed away Thursday, Decenter 14th at a private residence in Mesa. He was born July 10, 1937 in Jerome, AZ. Most of his life he lived in Superior where he worked for Magma Copper Co. for 22 years and then as a Federal Mine Inspector for 18 years. Most of his life he belonged to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He enjoyed attending the Round-up at the JF and 4F Ranches. He loved to hunt and attend all the athletic events his grandchildren participated in. Survivors include his wife: Gerry; daughters: Kathy (Tony) Gonzales of Superior, Geanette Gonzales of San Diego, and Geri (David) Lawrence of Mesa; son: Michael Gonzales of Alhambra CA; his mother: Celia Miramon, sister: Loretta Valenzula and brothers: David Gonzales, Danny, Jess, Johnny, Freddie, Charlie, Bobby, Alex and Armando Miramon. Grandchildren: Deandriande Padilla, Danny Padilla and Jeoffrey Lawrence. Rosary was Sunday, December 17th at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11 Church Ave., Superior, AZ. Mass was Monday, December 18th also at St. Francis. Interment at Fairview Cemetery in Superior. Published 12/16/2000 in the Arizona Republic
