DECLAY, Edwin

The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 02/04/2005 Edwin DeClay, 51, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, Jan. 31, 2005 in Phoenix. He was born April 10, 1952. Edwin was employed with Bashas'. He was a dedicated and hard worker who was always friendly and helpful to the customers he served. Edwin also had a strong faith in the Lord. He was much loved by his family and will be dearly missed. Edwin is survived by his mother, Agnes DeClay; daughter, Sara Lori DeClay; four sisters, Sandra DeClay, Genevieve Burnette, Charlotte DeClay, Jeanette DeClay; two brothers, McDaniel DeClay, Vance DeClay; brother-in-law, Kimmy Burnette, Sr.; two sister-in-laws, Belva DeClay, Eleanor Quintero; his companion, Bernadette Nelson; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Rex DeClay. There will be a 2 night wake beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 at Sandra DeClay's residence, Jackson Ave. No. 82 Canyon Day. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6 at the Canyon Day Lighthouse Church with Brother Edmund Cosay officiating. Interment will be in the Canyon Day Cemetery.
