DECLAY, Grace

The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 10/29/2004 Grace Paxson Declay, 77 of Whiteriver, went to be with the Lord Oct. 20, 2004. She was born Aug. 27, 1927 in Whiteriver. Grace enjoyed being with her family and planting flowers and bulbs. Grace is survived by her sons Minor Declay Sr., Harold Declay, Darwin Declay; daughters Vera Dazen (husband Arden Dazen Jr.), Charlene Aday (husband Fred Aday Jr.), Theresa Declay; sisters Josephine Ethelbah, Nellie Massey, Genevia Tate, Sophie Brown, Margaret Truax, Beverly Dakoshay, Ruth Goklish; brothers Evans Paxson, Minor Paxson, Hugh Walker, Uclan Walker; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Declay and her great-grandson Noah Aday. A wake was held Thursday, Oct. 28, at her residence in Rainbow City. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. at the Canyon Day Miracle Church, with Bishop Leroy Tate officiating. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery in Whiteriver. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
