The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 12, 1958 Auto Wreck Kills California Woman Mrs. Lora Frances Elkins, 78, of Hemet, Calif., was instantly killed early Tuesday afternoon when the automobile she was driving west left the highway and overturned approximately six miles east of Aguila. Mrs. Elkins was thrown from the car as it overturned, says Sgt. W. O. Dollar of the Highway Patrol. Cause of the accident is unknown, although Sgt. Dollar says the woman, was alone in the car, might have momentarily gone to sleep. The body was removed to the Wickenburg Mortuary to await instructions from the next of kin.
