FRY, Verdia Marie

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona September 26, 2003 Verdia Marie Fry was born September 22, 1922 in Marion, Illinois. She married Spencer K. FRY May 10, 1943. They moved to Arizona in 1949 where she spent 30+ years teaching English. She was a member of Junior Women's Club, Desert Club and ADK teaching sorority. Verdia was a completely devoted grandmother and great grandma "G.G.". She was a loving mother and trusted friend. She touched more lives than could be imagined. She died a very rich woman and we can't wait to see her again. She was a living example of God's amazing grace. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister. She is survived by her children; Spencer FRY (Margo) and Sheena RANG (John), granddaughters; Lindsay JOHNSON (Matt), Courtney GEHL (Jason) and Trasie JOHNS (Brian), great grandchildren; Faith, Carter, Grace, Justen, Delaney, and Devin. She is also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Services were held at Central Christian Church, 933 N. Lindsay Rd. Donations may be made to Rainbow Acres P.O.
