The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona December 18, 2004 Dan Maruna, 74, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away December 14, 2004. He was born April 23, 1930 in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. He served with the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War. He received a Master's Degree from ASU in Business Administration. He was President and CEO of National Health Care Systems, Inc. of California. Dan's family includes his wife, Gladys; daughter, Mary Elizabeth; son-in-law, Michael Robert; grandchildren, Brandon Ryan and Holly Danielle; siblings, Betty, Emma, Annie, Elsie, and Andy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mele and Mary; son, Michael Anthony; and siblings, Willie, Mary, and John. A Memorial Mass was held Monday, December 20, 2004 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ.
