He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Julie Fields and Don Fields, his father, Michael Smalling, his grandmothers Esther Felton and Sybil Smalling, three sisters, Jessica Soutas (Dave), Tricia Rush (Tony) and Michelle Fields, two brothers, Christopher Smalling and Don Fields, Jr., (Leslie), Aunts and Uncles Lisa and Wil Lopez, Sheryl Reinus, Louise and Dr. Steve Smalling, Jean and Joe Peters, 11 cousins, seven nieces, one nephew, his fiancée Shyla Dixon and their baby due in September, 2004. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leon Felton and Charles Smalling. He is greatly loved; his smile, love and laughter will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services were held in Phoenix and a local memorial service in Wickenburg is planned in the near future.
