Jewel E. McPherson, 77, passed away June 27, 2004 at her home in Wickenburg. Jewel was born in Hamlin, Texas on Oct. 25, 1926.

She is survived by her son, Dennis McPherson of Mesa; brother Allen Rogers of Tonopah; and one grandson.

Services will be held at the Alpine First Baptist Church in Alpine, Ariz., with burial in the Ft. Bayard Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Silver City, N.M., on July 2.

Arrangements were by Frey Funeral Home.
