The Arizona Daily Sun Flagstaff, Arizona Wednesday, August 12, 2009 Essie L. Meza, 93, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2009. Mrs. Meza was born Dec. 10, 1915, in Texas. She worked for the El Rancho Market as a meat wrapper and Food Services at Northern Arizona University. She is survived by two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis Meza; daughter Maurine King; son Audrey Waldrop; and grandson Gary Lockey. A funeral service will be Thursday at Lozano's Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth St. Burial will be Monday, at 1 p.m., at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, in Scottsdale. Condolences can be sent to the family at condolences@lozanos-flagstaffmortuary.com.
