The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 15, 2004, p. B10 Eddie Maureen Barnett Peek was born July 30, 1914 at Naples, Texas. She died Nov. 26, 2004 at the home of her son in Wittmann. She is survived by her husband Carl Peek and their children Wanda Carlyn McDonald of Seneca, S. C., James Orvil Peek (Diane) of Wittmann, Bettie Lou Goff (Stan) of Seneca, S.C., and Gayland Lamar Peek (Beth) of Canyon Lake, Texas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Carl and Eddie were married on May 5, 1934 in Texarkana, Ark. They had 70 years of being best friends as well as husband and wife. Eddie was much loved and will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.
