The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 24, 1961 Fred Simpson Rites Monday Funeral rites were conducted in Redlands, Calif., Monday morning for Fred Simpson, father of W. D. (Dolf) Simpson, who died at his home in Wickenburg at 5:34 p.m. Thursday of last week. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery at Redlands. Mr. Simpson was born January 28, 1878, in Lyon County, Kan. He resided in Redlands from 1918 to 1928 and again from 1943 to 1958 when he and his wife moved to Wickenburg. He was a rancher. Surviving are the widow, Florence; two sons, W. D. of Wickenburg and Verne of Big Bear Lake, Calif., and three daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Mason of Wickenburg, Mrs. Marjorie Heiligman of Yucaipa, Calif., and Mrs. Evelyn Mason of San Bernardino, Calif.
