The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 3, 1961 Fletcher Merrill Rites Wednesday Funeral services were conducted in the Wickenburg Chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday by Bruce Hunt, LDS branch president, for Fletcher Merrill, 75-year-old former resident of Salome who had recently been residing in Apache Junction. Burial was in the Wenden Cemetery. Mr. Merrill died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Community Hospital where he had been admitted February 21. A son, Lavor Merrill of Scottsdale, survives.
