The Williams News, Williams, Arizona Tuesday, December 09, 2008 Maria A. Martinez, 72, of Williams, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2008 in Flagstaff. Maria was born on April 21, 1936 to Feliciana Garcia and Juan Cardenas in Valle de Santiago, GTO Mexico. Maria was a housewife. She babysat many of her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Rosa (Marco), Serafin (Yolanda), Antonio (Yolanda), Pedro (Carmela), Jose (Kay), Luz Maria (Cruz), Guadalupe (Alberto), Eulalio (Amparo), Juanita (Samuel), Daniel (Delphina) and Maria (Angel); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Lupita and sister Maria Asunsion Rico. A Funeral Mass and Rosary will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 900 W. Grant Ave., Williams. Novel Owens Mortuary was entrusted with the arrangements.
