FEUERRIEGEL, Harry

Arizona State Miner, Wickenburg Saturday, April 4, 1925 p6 c2 Another death to account for the lust of speed demons and grafters at the Phoenix Fair Grounds. Harry Feuerriegel, pressman on the Phoenix Gazette, died Monday morning of injuries received during the auto races at the Fair grounds on Sunday. The graft of the management consisted in charging a general admission to the grounds and then herding the spectators around where they could not see until they paid for seats in the grandstand or reserved eminences to get the purse money that speeders risk their lives for. Human life must be cheap when considered in dollars and sense.
