Black's Mortuary Show Low, Arizona (August 14, 1937 - June 2, 2008) Ron Smith, 70, of Show Low passed away Monday, June 02, 2008, at RTA Hospice in Lakeside. He was born August 14, 1937, the son of Andrew and Margurite Smith, in Terre Haute, Indiana. He grew up and attended school in Terre Haute. He served two years in the US Army. He was married to the former Bonnie Orebaugh on May 28, 1994 at Laguna Beach, CA. He worked in Phoenix as vice president of Goodwill Industries. He retired and came to Show Low in 2001. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie, of the home; a daughter, Terri and husband Michael Leathers of Phelan, CA; a son David and wife Kate Smith of Mesa; a sister, Georgina Clark of Show Low and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery in California.
