Mrs. Geneva Lewis "Denny" Wilson, age 84 of Phoenix died November 27, 2003. A native of Gary, Texas and a resident of Phoenix since 1945, a member of First Institutional Baptist Church for over 58 years. Survivors include her children; Dorothy Eke-Oduru, Lester and Rochelle Wilson, Carolyn and Larry Wilson, Jackie Onyia, Benita and Margo Wilson. Sisters; Al Sadie Womack and Tressie Jennings. One brother; Eloise Womack. 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The family received friends on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at Universal Memorial Center, 1100 E. Jefferson St. Services were held on Friday from the First Institutional Baptist Church, 1141 E. Jefferson St. Interment followed in Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Universal Memorial Center. Published in the Arizona Republic on 12/3/2003.
