The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona September 18, 2009 Thomas Kessay completed his journey on earth Sept. 12, 2009, in Mesa. He was born Jan. 8, 1984, in Whiteriver. He will be dearly missed by all but never forgotten. He is survived by his father, Jasper Kessay; mother Arlinda Kessay; sister Joyce Kessay; brothers Jasper Kessay Jr. and Fredrick Kessay; uncles Robert Zahgotah Sr. and Nathan Zahgotah; aunts Carolina Hill, Carrie Ann Kessay and Lilly Curley; grandfathers Rapheal Zahgotah, Billy Truax, Stacy Alchesay and Spencer Alchesay; grandmothers Bernice Truax, Emma June Truax, Edith Bourke and Beatrice Zahgotah; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Emilita June Kessay. A wake was held Thursday, Sept. 17, at Jasper and Arlinda Kessay's residence in McNary. Home services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the family residence in McNary with Pastor Jack Townsend officiating. Interment will be at the Ponderosa Pine Cemetery in McNary. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
