HAYNES, Carlton Lee Rich


Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Thursday, September 10, 2009 Carlton Lee Rich Haynes, 16, of Flagstaff, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009. Mr. Haynes was born Nov. 1, 1992, in Phoenix, to Daneel Hans and Harold Hayes. As a baby, his family moved to Flagstaff, where he attended DeMiguel Elementary School before moving to Georgia at the age of 7. He returned to Flagstaff last year. He was a smart kid and loved to read, surf the Internet and play video games. He also enjoyed disc golf, watching movies, Japanese martial arts and animals. Mr. Haynes is survived by his mother, Daneel Hans; stepfather Michael A. Larsen; grandmothers Alice Paula Sullivan and Karen Adele Hans; and grandpa Aaron Peters. He is also survived by foster parents Bruce and Dee Whitlow; foster brother and best friend Dylan Whitlow from Georgia; his cousin, Stephanie; aunt Janell and uncle Will Pierce; uncle Kirby and aunt Fran Hans; and his dogs Munchie and Alice.
