LONG, Matthew Allen

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Friday, August 28, 2009 Matthew Allen Long, 29, died Aug. 24, 2009, at his home in Flagstaff. He was born May 23, 1980, in Phoenix. He was an equipment operator in Flagstaff. Mr. Long is survived by his two children, Natalie Sherman and Tyler Sherman-Long; his parents, Mello and Joel Long; his sister, April Marie Long; a grandmother; two grandfathers; two aunts; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Long loved being with his children, bowling, camping and being outdoors. He also loved his job, his family and helping others. A memorial service is Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2401 N. Linda Vista Drive, in Flagstaff.
